Phoenix Contact MCR S1/5 UI DCI
MCR current transducers used to measure direct and alternating currents of any waveform. Programmable upper and lower limits enable optimum mapping of the measuring range. The MCR S1/5 UI DCI module provides not only thestandard 1 A and 5 A input signals, but also the option ofsetting current ranges of 0 … 0.2 A to 0 … 11 A progressively.
Current transducer is a device, which converts current into a proportional industrial standard electrical signal. Basically current transducer is formed by four parts, sensitive component, conversion component, conversion circuit, power circuit. In the design of current transducer, the input current is absolutely isolated from output current. As in the industry environment, there are a lot of interferences which cause measurement signals to be inaccurate. Using current transducer can get rid of the interferences, so the output signal can fully represent the measured signal.
